It is a cruel and unforgiving God who delievers a blizzard in the middle of march, right when things are starting to warm up...and not just a blizzard in the exagerated sense. We're talking real Wisconsin fifteen point five inches, snowplows going off the road, freeway closed down blizzard...that's not really the cruel part, though. The cruel part is that as a result of this I got to spend my first official day of spring break totally and completely snowed in. Normally I wouldn't mind too terribly much. I have a phone, a computer...all that jazz...but we lost power for a while, making that sort of entertainment an issue, and I'm watching my neighbor's house so I got to truge back and forth through said 15.5 inches of snow to let their dog out...and then try and shovel part of their driveway. Thank the Heavens for snowblowers.

What really irked me, though, is the fact that I was supposed to go and see The Libertine with two of my best friends who I, regrettably, do not see much anymore. It was the one day we all had off and we were going to make the trek over to Minnesota because the old Cinema 9 decided to be *stupid* and not have the Johnny Depp movie...they'll have the stupid movie about the mermaid or whatever, but not Deppy...but I digress. So instead of getting to see the movie, I got to sit at home and talk to Mary on the phone because she is also house sitting and got snowed it at said house...But that's all okay. We hung out today and tomorrow we shall again try to see The Libertine...maybe. I dunno what Roxy works tomorrow and *apparenly* 15 inches of snow isn't enough, because we're supposed to get more tomorrow and Thursday. I find it all rather amusing, actually. Maybe those two to come over tomorrow before the storm so at least then if I get snowed in I won't be alone. Oh well...there's always the possibility of a mall trip on Friday. I want to go to the Apple Store and look at lappys. (Yes...I might get an iBook...crazy, no?)

Anyway...with all the snow I'll probably get some art done and scanned or some stuff written to put up. If not I'll be bringing some of my A.P. stuff home after break. Though I'm getting like a D in A.P. art right now because I can't stay focused, so no promises on quality there. In any case....there's an update on little old me.
